What does it mean when your ex buys you jewelry?

We still do everything together but there is not title. I still love and would love to give it a try again. Im just really stuck and dont know if I should continue to see him or wash my hands because its been 9 mnths since we broke up. We were together since 2007. we talk about the furture and kids.
