As long as your home is your primary residence you are fine. That means you CAN NOT rent out your home. What you are doing is no different then what many do in Alaska. People here live in Anchorage or even in the Lower 48 but work hundreds or thousands of miles from their homes. As a result many rent in the areas where they work and travel to their homes during their R&R's. In many cases people are put up in camps during working weeks. This is what I do for a living. I feed and house such workers.
