Transfer deed over from deceased husbands name to mine.?

I am currently living in a homesteaded property in Orlando Florida (orange county) that my husband bought in his name only 8 years ago several months after we got married. I am still living in the property and paying the mortgage. I would like to get the deed transfer over to my name. I tried to get the mortgage, however my income did not qualify. Does anyone know how I can go about doing on my own, I have limited funds to hire an attorney. Thank you so much for you help.
