Hamster help?! Please answer!!?

1st off, why is your name invalid? Hamsters make good pets, they're like teddy bears that listen. Hamsters can live in most any container it can't escape from. THe Habit Trails are a fun because you can constantly change it. They do not have to have plastic tubes. You can always use paper towel tubes- I poked air holes in them. I always think of what kind of house I'd like if I were a hamster. (That's why my pot belly pig has a cozy shed with a sky light & window & the best wallowing hole ever.) If you get a wheel, which it needs to exercise- by all means , get the quietest possible. They are nocturnal (most active at night). Give it lots of attention, feed it right, give it the best foods- some fresh foods may not be good for them & chocolate is forbidden. It can kill most any animal. You can start small and making it fancier as you go along. ALWAYS wash your hands before & after playing with them. I tried to find the cage you were talking about, no particular luck. Go with the one that will work for now. Do not try to spend the most. Use simple & creative- no paint. Read up on the web or in a library. Knowledge is your best teacher. Good luck, loev ya
